Dr. Pamela Yellin

Licensed Psychologist

Dr․ Pamela Yellin has been a licensed psychologist in private practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma since 2000. In addition to private practice, she provided psychological counseling services to students attending Northern Oklahoma College from 2004 to 2014.

Pamela obtained her Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. She specializes in women's issues, marital counseling, children, and families. She also works collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, and other health related professionals in providing the most comprehensive treatment plan possible for every patient.

Dr. Yellin has experience as a college counselor, school psychologist, elementary school counselor, and a special education teacher. In addition, she has made presentations at professional and national conferences. She taught graduate classes and has supervised graduate students at Oklahoma State University.
Pamela is active in community service. She is currently a member of the Domestic Violence Task Force, which offers shelter, counseling, and other support services for women and children who have experienced abuse.

Dr. Yellin is a member of the Amercian Psychological Association (APA), the Oklahoma Psychologists Association (OPA), and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC).

Laura Black M.A.

Licensed Professional Counselor

Laura has been working in Dr. Pamela Yellin's private practice since January, 2013 after completing her Master's degree in counseling in December 2012. She completed all requirements for Oklahoma licensure in 2016.

Laura has experience with adolescents ages 12-18 and adults of all ages. Her areas of emphasis are depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life changes, and counseling the elderly. She has had training in several trauma-informed techniques, as well as EMDR.

Laura supports charitable organizations that address specific needs in their communities. She also spends her spare time caring for family, expanding her cultural experiences, and engaging in creative endeavors.

Laura is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA).

Lunch-hour, evening, and some Saturday appointments may be available. Please, call the office for potential times.

Do you accept my insurance?

Medicare and Medicaid insurance are accepted, as well as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Community Care, and others.

What if I don't have insurance?

Many times, a private-pay, sliding-scale fee can be arranged.
